KAP Design is Jamie Kapitain, a visual designer and illustrator specializing in the communication of information.
Jamie collaborates with his clients to create visual solutions - infographics, motion graphics, reports and presentations, illustrations, etc. - that engage audiences and increase understanding of complex information.
Jamie specializes in communicating climate change and sustainability information as well as scientific research. He has visually explained research findings, strategic plans, step-by-step processes, strategies, annual reports, and many more types of information.

Jamie Kapitain
With an ecology degree from Western University and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph, Jamie’s design career evolved from architecture into information design and visual communications. With over 325 infographic-based projects completed, his work is known for its clarity, engagement and successful balance of visual and written content. Jamie is also a painter and his work is collected throughout Canada and the United States (see his painting website).
Heather Watt-Kapitain
When a project requires expert facilitation to arrive at the story to tell, Heather is called in to collaborate. A skilled discovery meeting facilitator, she instinctively knows the correct questions to ask to get to the root of the communication challenge. Heather also brings 15 years of project and event management experience to KAP and is a Canada Clean50 2020 Honouree in the Consultant and Enabler category.
