Heather Watt-Kapitain, Managing Principal

Heather Watt-Kapitain, Partner, Business Development and Facilitation

As Partner in charge of business development and facilitation, Heather brings 15 years of project and event management experience to KAP ensuring a rich client experience and project success. A skilled discovery meeting facilitator, Heather instinctively knows the right questions to ask to get to the root of the communication challenge.

Heather has collaborated with many interesting clients including Royal LePage, The Cooperators, Conestoga College, Meridian Credit Union, RBC, Brooks Canada, Canadian Diabetes Association and Canadian Red Cross.

Heather lends her expertise to initiatives outside of KAP chairing the Guelph Chamber of Commerce Marketing and Membership Committee and is past Board Chair of Trillium Waldorf School. She is a regular at the Guelph Farmers Market and a Crossfitter.

Jamie Kapitain, Design Principal

Jamie Kapitain, Partner, Creative Director

As Creative Director at KAP, Jamie is responsible for all design. After receiving his Masters in Landscape Architecture, Jamie’s design career evolved from architecture into information design and visual communications. After more than 15 years designing, his skill comes from an equal part left brain (logical) and right brain (creative) approach to solving information design problems. He is a talented visual facilitator on a whiteboard in discovery meetings and adept at creating powerful visual communications solutions.

Jamie has worked on a large variety of design projects for a diverse list of clients including Intrawest, Virgin Gaming, IBM, Humber College, Guelph Chamber of Commerce, Reason Magazine, Mira Books, Harlequin Canada, Canadian Lawyer Magazine, Habitat For Humanity, University of Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier University and the City of Guelph.

Jamie is also a landscape painter (www.jamiekapitain.wordpress.com) and late night slide guitarist.

Pip & Del, Office Dogs

A whippet-border collie cross, Pip can deliver a message faster than email. Del, originally from Wales, is a thorough paper shredder.
